Project Title: Calavera Day of the Dead Masks

Student Comment: “I drew it and then started painting it. I then started doing the feather design and putting real feathers on. I did a design with three feathers and 2 leaves. I wanted to juxtaposition [the mask] as if it were falling through the sky. I put the gems around the eyes to be bright to represent the sun of the sky.
