Teacher Comment: “She had to make the leaf look realistic and the water droplets look three dimensional which is an extremely difficult task to master in chalk pastel and she rocked it!” –Art Teacher Ms. Lauren Richie

Artist Comment: “While I was creating the piece my goal was just to make it look as realistic as possible. I wanted to make it look like there were actual water droplets on the paper. This piece took lots and lots of blending and layers of pastel. Tissues were very handy when it came to blending the different colors together.” –Leah Bergey
