Milton’s Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) will hold its yearly induction ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 24, according to Advisor Ms. Angela Davis. She added the ceremony will be held in the high school auditorium at 2 p.m.
According to Ms. Davis, the junior inductees include Sarah Aikey, Jacqualyn Bridges, Kyler Crawford, Cameron Crites, Micah Davister, Mackenzie Derr, Pierce Edinger, Rebecca Gehrer, Hailey Hardy, Cara Kennedy, Riley Lewis, Tyler Lobos, Ryleigh Mabus, Simon Peter Rocktashel, Ethan Russell, Garrett Russell, Camden Scoggins, Larissa Shearer, Morgan Solomon, Laura Wassmer, Kathryn Weaver and Regina Wendt
According to Ms. Davis, the new senior members include Allison Embeck, Dawson Geiser, Caitlyn Guisewite, Spencer Mabus, Dylan Nicholas, Alyssa Rager, Nevin Rauch, Tanner Walter and Jessica Waycaster.
In addition to the 31 new members, NHS has 25 members from last year who are coming back as seniors, said Ms. Davis. She added the club also has a new member, Senior Daylin Leon, who moved to Milton from Mifflinburg. “Since she meets all of the qualifications of our chapter of NHS she is automatically a member of our chapter as well,” said Ms. Davis.
“I have nervous excitement because it is a new thing for me,” Ms. Davis said.
