Aidan catches the love of sports
Senior Aidan Keiser takes on multiple sports, including baseball and wrestling. He said that his main motivation is striving to make himself a better person in every way possible.
Aidan said he started playing baseball in Milton when he was six-years-old. He added that he became interested and motivated to become a catcher after watching Catcher Yadier Molina of the Saint Louis Cardinals play.
Aidan said his father wrestled as a student at Warrior Run High School, which sparked his passion for the sport. He said he began wrestling at the age of five, with his father teaching him techniques and giving him meaningful advice.
He added that his favorite sports memories would be the bus rides home from away games with his teammates, fellow seniors Isaiah Day and Jostein Minyety. He added they never failed to entertain each other and always kept an upbeat and lively atmosphere.
Aidan said he trains hard, like a bodybuilder, almost every day during the baseball season. Aidan said he usually lifts on high intensity for about an hour and a half, but he doesn’t let this workout schedule impact his season.
He added that sports have helped him become an overall better person and allowed him to make lifelong memories.
“I would say he’s the best catcher in the state,” said Isaiah. “I wouldn’t want to have anyone else as a teammate, catcher and best friend.”
Aidan said he plans to continue his baseball career as a catcher for King’s College in Wilkes-Barre and added that he hopes to become a Pennsylvania State Trooper after graduating.
