Madelyn Nicholas Senior Goodbye

Freshmen Year (2019-20) Freshmen year brought a huge change, going into my first year of high school and then going virtual half the year. I truly learned who I was and who my friends were during this year. I learned how to fend for myself and learn on my own. Thank you for helping me find my true self!
Sophomore Year (2020-21)

This year was very back and forth for me because we were both in person and virtual and never knew when. This made school kind of difficult because it was hard to learn both in person and virtual, but I made it through, thankfully. This year I made so many new friends and got to know so many new people. I also learned my new favorite thing about school, which was a Descanso de mascara (a mask break). This year taught me how much better it is to learn in person not only because of academic reasons, but also to be able to see everyone around you. Thank you for teaching me the importance of how lucky I was to have school in person.
Junior Year (2021-22)

This year had to be both my least favorite and the best year ever. School was the worst this year and it caused me a lot of stress. Cramming for school, taking the SAT, having a job, looking at colleges and playing two sports was a lot. I learned to always take on a challenge even though it might hurt me in the process because the end is so worth it. After the school year ended, I felt that I achieved so much and that all my hard work paid off. I also met so many of my close friends during this year. I became happier, even though I had a heavy work load. But, no matter what, my friends never left my side and always supported me, which helped me survive the dreadful junior year that everyone worries about. Thank you for showing me that the bumpier the road is, the better the surprise at the end.
Senior Year (2022-23) My last and final year of high school has been one for the books. I have met many new people that have become some of my closest friends. My classes and sports seasons have been so much fun. I never realized how quickly high school goes by until now, but I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I can’t thank the people and teachers around me enough for supporting me and being there for me when I needed them. As my last and final words for The Panther Press, thank you Milton for everything!
