Milton Area High School’s prom will be on Saturday, May 3, from 7-10 p.m.
This year’s prom will be held at The Venue at Liberty Valley in Danville. A promenade hour will also be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Milton high school auditorium.
Junior Class Advisor Ms. Brandee Krall said there will be some new additions to the prom this year, including multiple food choices offered throughout the night, such as a pasta bar, an ice cream sundae bar and drinks. All additions will be included in the ticket price.
Last year’s ticket prices were $25, “We are still deciding on a ticket price, but the price will be slightly higher than last year,” Ms. Krall said. Only students in the junior and senior classes will be able to purchase tickets to the prom, she added.
Prom tickets will go on sale March 31 and be available through April 24. All tickets must be purchased before the prom. There will be no tickets available at the door. Junior and senior students can purchase tickets at lunch or from Ms. Krall in the auditorium.
The prom is being organized by the Class of 2026. “We have help from the Junior class officers, Alex Familia, Alyvia Russell, Nickole Brouse and Katelyn Davister, along with a prom committee made up of juniors,” Ms. Krall said.
Junior class members took ideas from other students on social media for prom theme decisions. This year’s theme is Old Hollywood, featuring a red carpet.
Junior Alex Familia, Prom committee president, said that everything is going well with organizing. “Right now, we are getting a DJ,” Alex said. Other than that, Alex added they have everything secured.
