Skills USA students progress to states
Six Milton Skills USA students will attend the Pa. Skills USA state competition.
The state’s competition will be held virtually the last week of March through the first two weeks of April, according to Club Advisor Ms. Amanda Smith-Derck. The results of the competition will be available April 15, she added.
The students that will be attending the Pa. Skills USA competition are Early Childhood Education students Senior Crystal Hamilton for job interview, Senior Haylee Carl for employment application process, Junior Laurel Bower for extemporaneous speaking and Junior Mya Cromwell for related technical math.
Also competing will be Senior Ryleigh Mabus, an Accounting student and Skills USA treasurer, for prepared speech, Junior Samantha Hepler, an Agriculture student and Skills USA vice president, for job demo A and Senior Dane Neilson, an Automotive Technology student, for automotive service technology.
