Cross Country tears up state course
Senior Ariane Raymond, Sophomore Leah Walter and the Boy’s Varsity Cross Country team ran at the 2019 PHAC State Meet.
According to official PHAC results, Leah placed 48th and Ariane placed 56th out of 208 runners.
According to official PHAC results, out of 227 runners, Senior Tanner Walter placed 69th, Sophomore Brody Bender placed 79th, Senior Colton Loreman placed 83rd, Sophomore Timothy Marvin placed 128th, Sophomore Chase Bilodeau placed 154th, Senior Jonah Snyder placed 205th and Junior Brandon Newcomer placed 216th. Overall, the boy’s team placed 12th.
Leah said a lot of runners did well at the race considering the course condition, and she and Ariane worked well together. “I stuck to my race plan of sticking with Emma Miller, a great runner from Warrior Run, and it turned into a great race and [a] great way to cap off the season,” she added.
